Vicks® Botanicals eCommerce

The challenge was to build out eCommerce images and an online video for Walmart for Vicks® NEW! Botanicals Liquids. As there wasn’t a set of brand guidelines, the goal was to pull the illustrations off the packaging to create cohesive and effective eCommerce content in both video and closure image format.

The request from P&G was to establish the Botanicals line within the Vicks family and historical branding, but successfully enter naturals segment and lower age demographic in the space that DayQuil and NyQuil could not. This was achieved through playful, illustrative elements from the packaging to spotlight the flavors and key differentiators of these new products.

Once the initial secondary creative was approved, I began to build out the content into a video format with the goal of introducing the Botanicals line into the market. The client requested a short video to show the key benefits of using Botanicals and stay within the younger market. I accomplished this through upbeat audio, and animating the illustrations on pack.
